Last Sunday, nine inspired team members from Epic IT participated in the HBF Run For A Reason. An event where each year, thousands of participants choose a charity and fundraising goal to run, walk, or wheel towards. Powered by kindness, HBF is proud to put on an event that allows West Aussies, to raise vital funds for important charities close to their heart.
Thanks to HBF and passionate participants like us, the event has helped raise more than $11 million over 11 years, for over 200 charities. This is community spirit at its best and it’s why HBF loves putting on this event for the WA community.
This year, HBF Run for a Reason 2024 was aiming to raise over $1.2 million for charities while celebrating togetherness in the heart of Perth.
The morning saw our team motor through various events including the 4KM walk, 12KM run and even the all mighty half marathon of 21KM.
We even surprised ourselves with our amazing efforts and results!
Post run, the team ensured all calories lost were quickly found as we were rewarded with an all you can eat cooked buffet breakfast along with fantastic coffee on tap to wash it all down. Once full, we (soldiers) were further treated to professional massages from our private sports therapists in the HBF corporate lounge.
Most of all we enjoyed some quality time together, in amazing weather taking in the most scenic sites Perth has to offer. All while supporting a fantastic cause that is the HBF Run For A Reason.
Next stop, City To Surf and then bring on 2025!
