As part of Epic IT’s continued sponsorship and involvement in the 2022 WHS awards, our managing director Greg Markowski teamed up with Nova 93.7, Ross Wallman onstage recently to crown this year’s two winners of the 2022 WHS “Innovation in WHS” award category.
The gala event was held at the Crown Towers which included a number of VIP guests such as the Honourable Bill Johnston (MLA), Minister for Mines and Petroleum, Corrective Services and Industrial Relations. The evening was kicked off by a moving Welcome To Country by Barry Winmar & the Ngalak Nidja Dancers. Overall there were 12 awards handed out, across 10 categories.
This year due to the overwhelming number of high-quality submissions in 2022, two awards were handed out under the subcategories of Innovation in Product and Innovation in Program. These were awarded to RioTinto for their RORI Robot innovation and RiskTalk for their RiskTAlk App.
Congratulations to both winners for their amazing work in workplace health and safety!
