A Wireless network (WIFI) is a network that does not use traditional network cables such as CAT-5 or CAT-6 “blue cables”. It uses WI-FI radio signals to communicate and transmit data across to other computers and gateways etc . Internal office wireless networks tend to have a 100m to 300m range depending on walls and obstructions. Wireless networks should not be confused with a mobile data network.
